Judy Belk  

Judy has more than 20 years of leadership experience in strategic philanthropy, community relations, corporate citizenship and non-profit management.  She has held senior management positions in both the corporate and public sectors.  Her clients have included the James Irvine Foundation, The California Endowment, Target Corporation, the Women's Funding Network and the Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors.  Judy also served as Vice President of Global Public Affairs for Levi Strauss & Co. for ten years, reporting to the Chairman and CEO, with responsibilities for the company’s global philanthropic, community affairs, government relations and communications efforts.  During her tenure, the company was recognized with the nation’s first "Ron Brown Award for Corporate Citizenship Leadership".

Judy has also managed community and philanthropic programs for Mervyn’s, an operating company of Target Corporation.  She also served as Director of Public Affairs for the Association of Bay Area Governments (ABAG) and Community Relations Officer for the City of Sunnyvale, CA.  She serves on the board of trustees for Citizens Fund, a family of socially responsible mutual funds; as well as on  numerous non-profit boards, including the Ms. Foundation, the Northern California chapter of the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) and the Berkeley Repertory Theatre.  Judy received a B.S. in Speech from Northwestern University and a M.P.A. from California State University, Hayward.
