Lori Vacek has held senior
management and consulting positions in the field of corporate grantmaking and
community involvement for more than 15 years.
In recent years, she has consulted primarily with corporations on
international and domestic grantmaking, strategic planning, program development, benchmarking
and evaluation issues.
For the past two and half years, Ms. Vacek has served as a consultant to
the Levi Strauss Foundation where she has provided international grantmaking and
program and operational support.
Previously,
Lori worked as the director of corporate services for the Council on
Foundations, as a senior consultant for Price Waterhouse, as a budget analyst
for the State of California (focusing on children’s health and AIDS programs),
and as a program officer for the Wells Fargo Bank Foundation.
Lori has presented at various workshops for grantmakers, has published
three reports on international philanthropy in Asia Pacific, and has authored or
revised other articles and publications, including a Guide to Strategic
Planning for Corporate Contributions (Council on Foundations).
Lori is a graduate of Washington University in St. Louis, holds a Masters
in Public Policy from the Claremont Graduate School, was a Coro Foundation
Fellow, and holds a M.B.A. from the Haas School of Business. |
