Myra Chow  

Myra has 15 years of experience in the field of philanthropy, volunteerism and corporate community relations.  She has consulted to various foundations and non-profits, and held senior management positions at Gap Inc. and Levi Strauss & Co.  As a director with both companies, Myra counseled senior management, developed community relations strategies, and directed domestic/international philanthropic and volunteer programs.  Myra has broad expertise in program design, strategic grantmaking, corporate volunteerism and community relations.

Previously, Myra was the Executive Director of the Chinatown Youth Center in San Francisco, and a U.S. Peace Corps Volunteer in the Philippines.  Myra has served as the board chair of Northern California Grantmakers, as a founding board member of the Asian Fund, and as a member of the corporate committee of the Council on Foundations. Myra is a graduate of Cornell University and has a M.B.A. from Yale University.
